Join the 40-Day Mission-Minded Family Challenge

New Year’s resolutions: Workout twice a week, read through the entire Bible, obey Jesus’ command to “go into all the world and make disciples….”

I just ran across this site today, and want to pass it onto you, my faithful readers. Take the challenge with your family, and get involved in what Jesus calls each of us–as Christians–to do. This is NOT just for pastors and missionaries. Missions is part of the job description of any Christ follower.

Here’s a video to get you started!

Go to this site for more info and to begin your challenge: http://harvestministry.org/challenge. Another way to learn more about missions and get involved for yourself is to take a Perspectives course. This was one of the factors that motivated Holly and me to follow God’s call to Taiwan.

  1. Dear Matt & Holly,

I’m delighted that you “found” the “40-Day Mission-Minded FAMILY CHALLENGE” – and thank you for linking it to your site. May the Lord bless you and the work He has called you to do in Taiwan. May your Christmas and 2010 be blessed with even more of the PRESENCE, JOY, and VISION of the Lord. As you (or any of your fiends) go through the challenge, know that it’s simply made, but heart-felt. Feel free to leave comments as you progress (and others will comment back), and go at whatever speed is more convenient for you!

We’re a family with 7 kids (currently ages 9 to 23), and we’ve been in full-time international missions for about 25 years (primarily remote evangelism & church planting, orphan ministry, and motivating families for missions).

    Blessings to you!
    Ann
